Celebrating Mother’s Day in Quarantine

(top left to right)  Grandma and Me; Mom and me; (bottom left to right) My Bunny & Me; Mom-In-Law and Me As we are all getting used to the “new normal”, staying home shouldn’t really stop us from showing our love and gratitude for the people we love. With each new day, calendar forwards without a change and occasions come on the defined time – unaware of the fact that we are under lockdown due to COVID-19. With the occasions falling on a calendar day, the only difference I find is that everything is home-bound instead of a fun-filled evening watching the most awaited blockbuster at Cineplex followed by dinner at your favorite restaurant or traveling to the nearby destination and spending a night at the lake-side hotel! But this shouldn’t stop the fun or stop you from celebrating and acknowledging the special days – Birthday, Anniversary, Festivals, and appreciation days such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day! Baby Shower Guest Activities

A baby shower is your event at the same time you want to involve your guests in the celebration. At my shower, I had lots of activities planned for my guests to be involved into through the event. We played games, made speeches, took pictures, cut the cake and had lunch together. To know which games we played at the shower, ready my blog - Baby Shower Games . In addition to the shower games, there were a lot of other activities to keep our guests busy and collect memories for our little arrival.  1. Onesie and Diaper Messages I had put out a plain white onesie from my baby’s first shopping for the guests to write their messages or wishes on it. I pinned it on a hardboard and left a few markers for the guests. I planned to frame it and hang it in the nursery.
